Shipper’s Security Guide

May 14, 2026 | Article

With fraud on the rise in the transportation industry, we’ve taken major steps to secure our network, and ensure our vetted carriers have what they need to protect their businesses.

But it’s just as important for shippers to take extra precautions. Read the following best practices to see how you can continue using our trusted network with maximum confidence and security.

Secure Your Account
Sharing your sign-in details with others, even people who work for you, can expose you to fraud and unauthorized access.

You should never share your MyLogisticsHub username or password with anyone. Ready Logistics will never ask for this information via email, text, or other communication. Just this simple practice significantly reduces your risk and protects your account.

Identify Common Scams
The most common phishing scam is credential harvesting. Bad actors will pose as Ready Logistics or another legitimate company via email or text, then direct you to a fake website where they can steal your login credentials or payment information.

These communications will often come from unusually long or strange-looking email addresses, and include URLs with strange characters. They may also use urgent or threatening language like “Act now or your account will be locked” or “Your service will be discontinued.”

Emails from us will always have a coxautoinc.com or readylogistics.com address, such as

  • reply@messages.readylogistics.com
  • noreply@messages.readylogistics.com
  • carrierassurance@coxautoinc.com

Be sure to closely examine all messages before clicking any links or downloading attachments. Hover over the sender’s display email name to reveal the true address and see if it looks unusual. Be sure to double-check all domains and URLs for extra letters, special characters, or alterations.

In the Event of Fraud
If you suspect your account has been compromised, or notice any suspicious changes to your MyLogisticsHub account (such as added users or cars you didn’t accept), it’s critical to immediately contact us by (480) 558-3200 and ask for MyLogisticsHub Support. Or, email us at mlh_help@coxautoinc.com or IntegrityAssurance@coxautoinc.com.

You can also provide information to local law enforcement, report the incident to the USDOT’s Inspector General, file a complaint with the FMCSA National Consumer Complaint Database, or contact the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov.

What We’re Doing
Ready Logistics remains one of the most secure carrier networks in the country. Every partner in our curated network must meet strict eligibility requirements, pass our onboarding process, and submit to daily insurance vetting and active credential monitoring.

This highly structured pre-qualification process enables us to proactively protect all of our customers. Still, due to increased fraud risk across the industry, we’ve introduced additional checks and safeguards, including:

  • Continuous monitoring of load activity for suspicious patterns
  • A dedicated Integrity Assurance Team with escalation protocols
  • System lockdowns and holds on vehicle shipments if fraud is detected
  • Multi-Factor Verification and ID Verification for our carrier onboarding and order management systems

We all play a part in making auto logistics safer—so while we strengthen security on the backend, make sure you’re consistently following these best practices as you ship vehicles with us. It’s the best way to protect your business, avoid fraud, and ship with confidence.
